So there has been a lot of drama over at The Dead End with the Stick It Awards. People were complaining about categories, nominations, parenting habits, etc. You name it, and they were fighting about it. I tried my best to stay in the shallow waters of the drama pool and only put in my $.02 when it really felt necessary.

I have decided, however, to share with you who I think will win next Saturday.

Best Forum/MB - I admit being a little biased here. I think (hope) that Euphoric MB takes it. I really loved the members there and the atmosphere is welcoming and it’s an awesome place to be. A lot of members there are TDE fans so I suspect that it will take the award.

Coolest Layout - Dubious without a doubt. I had never seen this site until the awards, but the layout is amazing and the colors are perfect. It absolutely deserves to win in this category.

Best New Blog - Can we say Inhale? Alex is an awesome blogger. I’ve been reading her site since before it was Inhale.nu. She’s witty and endearing and her blog shows that. I love Miranda’s site too, but I just have a gut feeling that Alex will take it.

I Changed My Layout Again ( but my site still sucks ) - Now we get to the nastier award categories. This is an easy pick though, because after looking at all of them, the only one I know to constantly change layouts is Jenn. Yvonne’s blog leaves a lot to be desired, but her layout hasn’t changed that much. Xoxo.nu goes through layouts like I go through Ho Hos. The only difference is that Ho Hos are actually palatable.

I Am Not A Drama Queen! - Nicole from Sparkley hasn’t been involved in any drama as of late, because she’s been too busy doing … whatever it is that she does. Grace from DawsonDays is a self proclaimed Drama Queen, so that doesn’t really fit. Angela is catty, but not overly dramatic. The only person in this category who speaks out against drama while handing out “subtle” jabs is Jenn. Now, if only her drama wasn’t ages old and boring.

What Were You Thinking? - I don’t know. I’m not sure I even fully understand this category. Brandy has poor coding - but has tried to improve. However, she also likes commenting anonymously as “Somebody”. That’s sorta silly with IP logging and everything. I’m going to go with Brandy, for her sneaky, sneaky ways.

Worst Parent - One nominee doesn’t have a child, so I doubt she’ll take it. Shelly named her kid Phenix. I can’t really jump on anyone for their child’s name, although someone should jump on her for her inability to use the English language properly. Jenn has a laundry list of skerry kid incidents, and for a while I was sure she’d take this one. Then Karol appeared on the scene, ranting and raving about how smoking around her child is okay and all the studies that suggest otherwise are untrue. I don’t know what sort of parent she is, and I don’t really care. I do think, however, she will take this category because of the sheer volume of comments.

Worst Blog on the Net - Funky Butt. Again, this is a case where I think people will vote for her just because of the drama that got started over her baby’s name. I don’t have any feelings about her site because of the poor grammar, but that’s just me.

Blog of The Year - I really, really hope that Becca takes this one. I have been in love with her site for a year or so now. Warm, friendly, and funny, she is one of the coolest people to read. Her family means the world to her and it shows. She deserves this award.
