It’s no surprise to some of you, but I love Trader Joe’s. I love the healthy snacks they sell. I love that most of their food is all natural and organic. I love that they sell “No Pudge” Brownies and their cheesecake is absolutely devine.
There is one thing, however, that I don’t like. They package their produce. They wrap their peppers in plastic. They do the same to other veggies, like artichokes and asparagus. You walk down the aisle and there they are, on Styrofoam platters, covered in a thin layer of plastic wrap.
This just seems like excess packaging to me. I don’t get why they do it. It just winds up in the garbage and then the landfill. I think it would just be easier to have bags of some sort. Maybe recycled paper bags or something.
This reminds me that in a few weeks I want to order some grocery bags. I hate throwing out the plastic bags I get at the store. I’d rather have some sturdy bags to re use.
I’m happy I made it there today though. I FINALLY found the yogurt I’ve been trying to find for the last month and a half.
