Fragments of Self

Lay it all on me
the responsibility
one stone at a time on my chest
until I cant breathe
and I can rest

Hollow me out
Empty all my insides
Fill me with all the secrets
Both yours
and mine

You can fold me
Bend me in two
I’ll fit nicely in your pocket
I’ll fit so well
against you

That’s beautiful. And makes me wish that I was still writing poetry…
