I never even thought that there might be a website out there totally devoted to mailboxes. As per the norm, I was totally wrong. In fact, the website has over 1500 mailboxes for both commercial and residential purposes. Fifteen. Hundred. Mailboxes.
I don’t like to admit this, but I do find some amusement in some of the residential mailboxes I’ve seen. I’m not sure if it’s the fact that people put so much thought into their mail receptacle or that some of them are just wicked creative, but nonetheless they can be very interesting to look at.
I guess in most cases that mailboxes are an overlooked, under appreciated aspect of curb appeal and a site like this can help turn that around.
